Hats Off To The Past
More than a century of learning
- c. 1900
Linstead Government School
Founded in a single-room wooden structure to educate the children of Linstead.
- 1946
Linstead All-Age School
Renamed as the school grew with the town it serves.
- 1965
A new seven-acre campus
Relocated in 1964; officially opened January 31, 1965 by the Hon. Edwin Allen, Minister of Education.
- 1998
Primary & Junior High era
Renamed with subject-based teaching for Grades 7–9, before later returning to its primary focus.
- Today
Linstead Primary School
Over a century strong, serving the children of Linstead — and still growing.
Our motto was coined by former head teacher Lester E Smart.
